What is the latest trends for Autumn/Winter 2017? Exclusive clients and friends of KABINET PRIVE, Bernard Chandran and Elegance Club were treated to the latest in handbags, fashion and jewelry at the Astor Bar, St Regis Kuala Lumpur recently.
The high tea event featured the latest Bernard Chandran Autumn/Winter 2017 collection that at first glance is very structured but surprises in being so wearable and more importantly comfortable. New necklines, voluminous sleeves, long coats in brocade, fur and detailed embroidery in various combinations bring about the interesting combination.

The many different styles of Hermés bags provided by KABINET PRIVE completed the different looks presented by the models. From the rare vintage Sac Himalaya in bright bold colors to the understated yet classy Constance, Hermés bags from Dato’ Sri Rozita’s (founder of KABINET PRIVE) personal collection were cleverly matched with the outfits.
Following high tea and as they were exiting the Astor Bar, guests were pleasantly surprised to find a rare treat awaiting them. Whilst many guests were proudly totting their favorite handbags and were more than familiar with Hermés they were still overjoyed to find that the bags earlier exhibited by the models were out on display for all to admire and try. This was a rare chance indeed as most times, a few selected bags would be brought out for clients to view and that only after special appointment for a private viewing. On display were the vintage Sac Himalaya, the vintage “original Constance’, Shark Bolide, exotic Lindy and many more.
It is seldom that rare authentic Hermés pieces are seen displayed in this way. As it is the private collection of Kabinet Prive's owner, the intention was to allow our guests to literally touch and feel the bags.
